For our Performers...

Ted Hall and The Pleasure Cats:

Ted Hall and the Pleasure Cats first emerged in the Austin music scene in the summer of 1993 & have performed weekly shows in Austin and throughout Texas, Oklahoma & Arkansas for the past 17 years. Ted & The Pleasure Cats play the Blues from 1920’s thru today & also mix in some cool Classic Rock tunes from the 60’s & 70’s. Ted has toured Italy 3 times with an Italian version of the Pleasure Cats in 1997, 1999 & 2003 performing in a total of 33 different venues. Also in 1999 Ted performed in London, England @ Blues West 14, The Railway Pub & The Station Tavern. Ted and The Cats continue to please crowds with their mix of classic blues, rock and the Cats original material.

Lavelle White:

Texas-based vocalist and songwriter "Miss" Lavelle White has a significant discography of singles, most dating back to the 1950s and '60s, but she only released her first full length album, Miss Lavelle, on the Austin, TX-based Antone's label in 1994. To say the album has been a long time coming would be the understatement of the year, for White's talents as a songwriter and singer were well-known in 1950s Houston, where she recorded several singles for the Duke/Peacock labels. In the late '50s, her label mates included Bobby "Blue" Bland, B.B. King, and Junior Parker. Miss Lavelle was White's first recording of any kind, in fact, in 30 years. The fact that it's a gorgeous album helped White play some large blues festivals across the U.S., Canada, and Europe, but for a number of years when she had no record deal, White continued to entertain club crowds with her singing in Chicago, Texas, Louisiana, and Florida.

East Side Blues Syndicate:

The East Side Blues Syndicate is a true family affair. Born out of the weekly 'Blue Monday' Blues Jams at The Historic Victory Grill in Austin, TX, the ESBS has quickly developed a fierce reputation for being one of the truly unique acts to come out of Austin's East Side in quite some time.

Led by Matthew Robinson's blues-hound vocals and guitar, Jose "Sweet Tone" Ruiz' lightning quick bluejazz harmonica, Harold McMillan's melodic bass, and a rotating list of Austin’s best soloists, the band transforms obscure blues tunes and originals with each member's collective vision and taste.

D Madness:

D-Madness is a multi-instrumentalist who has played music all over the world. He lives and works his ass off in Austin, Texas. Along with his own D-Madness Project he also performs with: 10YR, Thermostat, The D-Madness Experiment, The Finest Kind, Tribal Nation, Symbolyc One “S1?, Temple Underground, Brennen Temple, Neckbone, Bavu Blakes and the Xtra Plairs, Mambo Sauce, Diasporic, Shanty Town Underground, Serpentine, Killer Bees, Mojoe Family, Root1, Blaxsmith, and many more.
