DiverseArts Culture Works is pleased to present this month’s East End Fourth Fridays!, the community-focused, family-friendly celebration of art, music and community in East Austin. This month’s event will take place at Kenny Dorham’s Backyard on Friday, June 28 starting at 7pm.
Each month this art and culture-driven event brings the community together to create a memorable evening in East Austin. This month attendees will be treated to live music by the soulful LZ Love, the melodic East Side Blues Syndicate and the young – but equally talented – Midnight Skyline. Also, food will be available for purchase at the East End Fourth Friday. Attendance for kids is free, and the admission fee is a $5 suggested donation.
The East End Fourth Fridays! helps showcase the cultural legacy of East Austin for the benefit of the community. In partnership with neighborhood artists, businesses, cultural, civic and governmental groups, this monthly event is designed to bring a relaxed, communal open-air art and culture block-party to the newly revitalized East End. It's an open house in the East End along Eleventh Street. Sample food and drink established at the new venues, take in the headline concerts and bring the kids to enjoy the East End Kid's Corner at Kenny Dorham's Backyard.
